| Picasa is a free program that lets you organize and edit your photographs. In this class you will learn to edit your photos, improve color, contrast, and eliminate red eyes, as well as apply special effects. We will create photo slide shows to share with your family and friends, collages, and your own screen savers. We will work with photos provided by the teacher. Prerequisites: Attendees should have basic Windows knowledge and know how to download pictures from a digital camera to a computer. They should also know how to organize pictures in Picasa. | The Two of Us: Famous Duets, Classic Favorites and Originals
The musical duo of Willie Nininger and Jan Scruggs, performs famous duets that will bring back fond memories. Their voices blend in perfect harmony as they sing romantic songs such as “Unchained Melody” and Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s “Something Stupid”. Their replication of Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe” is certain to keep toes tapping and audiences grinning. Willie Nininger is an entertaining and versatile Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist, well known for his extensive repertoire, spontaneous sense of humor and flat-picking guitar technique. Willie plays in clubs and concerts across the US and Europe. While living in Switzerland he won the national “Entertainer of the Year” award. He has written songs for the “Captain Kangaroo Show” and kids’ TV “After School Specials” and has appeared on TV variety shows. He performs the National Anthem for the NY Mets annually. Jan Scruggs, a lover of harmony, plays the guitar and performs with Willie and his band up and down the east coast and in England. I |
