Free exhibits, demonstrations, performances and more for all ages.

Stroll along Simsbury town center and enjoy painters, musicians, dancers, crafters and performers at the first-ever ArtWalk Simsbury! on Saturday, May 19, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.  From the traditional to non-traditional, you’ll experience everything from glass and pottery to ballroom dancing and chamber music, as well as interactive activities for children.More than 50 exhibitors will display their wares, including painters, quilters, jewelers, photographers and woodworkers. Some items will be for sale.  Exhibits and events will be set up at venues along Hopmeadow Street or within a short walk of the center.A variety of musical and dance performances will be scheduled throughout the day.  Children’s activities include a sidewalk chalk event, arts and crafts, and a ballet performance by the Hartt School.Proceeds from ArtWalk Simsbury! will benefit the Simsbury ABC House, a non-profit organization that offers underprivileged young men “a better chance” at education and other opportunities by living in Simsbury and attending Simsbury High School.ArtWalk Simsbury! is a collaboration between State Representative Linda Schofield, the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, Farmington Valley Visitors Association, Simsbury Open Studios, Simsbury Main Street Partnership, Martocchio Music, community volunteers, and other organizations.
