Simsbury Garden Club meeting – “Exploring the world of flavor through the use of herbs and spices”

On Monday, March 17, the Simsbury Garden Club will have their annual herb luncheon.  Members will bring their favorite herb dishes and recipes to share.  Cooking teacher and caterer, Marcia Lahens, will present “Flavor Explorations – Exploring the world of flavor through the uses of herbs and spices”.  Come learn about flavor combinations that work, history of some spices and the cultures they come from and how to use fresh and dried herbs and spices.  Ms. Lahens has taught cooking classes and catered in various countries for over 15 years.
