The Simsbury Public Library will be offering a series of 5 free workshops led by Nancy Fellinger, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CRPC®   for women who want to feel more confident about managing their finances today or who will need to sometime in the future. Participants may come to all five sessions or just those of particular interest. Sessions will be held on Thursday February 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 6 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Library Wagner Room.

This series will cover a range of financial planning topics and is designed especially for the woman who is interested in gaining more knowledge and insights about managing her financial resources and making decisions with more confidence. Rather than a lecture format, each hour-long session is designed to allow for opportunities for discussion based on the interests of the participants. Whether you’re married or single, have primary responsibility for handling finances or not, the goal is to help remove barriers to feeling empowered around making the R/I/G/H/T financial decisions for yourself.

Session 1 (Feb. 6): Relationships and Financial Management
Session 2 (Feb. 13): Investments and Financial Management
Session 3 (Feb. 20): Goals and Financial Management
Session 4 (Feb. 27): Home and Financial Management
Session 5 (Mar. 6): Taxes and Financial Management

Preregistration through the library is requested, but not required. Space is limited to 12 participants. For detailed information on each session or to sign up, call 860-658-7663 x2200 or visitwww.simsburylibrary.info
