The Golden Age of Graphic Novels (or…Why Should Kids Have All the Fun?)

04/07/2011
6:30 pm
Simsbury Public Library Program Room
Picture books are the standard for children, yet most of us grow to leave them behind. Teens and adults are invited to an entertaining exploration of the benefits of shedding prejudices against comics and of viewing/reading the exciting works of illustrated illumination happening in publishing today. We will focus on the many great graphic works in history, biography, science, travel writing, mystery, horror, classics and more available at Simsbury Library.

Join Drew Hannah and the band Triangle for a fun and stimulating evening of live music and plenty of graphics!

For more information or to reserve a spot, call 860-658-7663 or visit www.simsburylibrary.info. This program is free and open to the public.
