Proud Nation Ice Show

Proud Nation is the annual performance of Fever on Ice, a program founded by US Olympians Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov under their Eduskating program and funded by a grant by the Hartford Department of Education & the State of Connecticut. In 2010 Gregory received the US Olympic Committee “Rings of Gold Award” for recognition of the Fever on Ice program.

Proud Nation offers area students, who participate in the Fever on Ice program, an opportunity to showcase their skills, while performing with world class entertainers.  This year, Olympic icon & gold-medal winner Dorothy Hamill will highlight the program as Master of Ceremonies, while country singing sensation Burns & Poe will compliment the performances with their award-winning music.

This is much more than a ‘skating show’.  Olympians, aerial artists, extreme sport athletes, dancers and musicians create an entertainment mosaic, all to support the achievements of the Fever on Ice students.
