The Strategy Behind Social Media

The Simsbury Public Library’s Business Resource Center will host a workshop, “The Strategy Behind Social Media” on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 pm. The program, offered as part of the ongoing, Wednesday Night Is Business Night Series will be presented by Andrea Cusano of Redhead Unlimited.

Social Media gives businesses a voice, a way to communicate with peers, customers and potential consumers. It personalizes their ‘brand’ and helps them spread their messages in a relaxed and conversational way. This seminar will teach attendees that there actually IS a strategy behind social media. Andrea Cusano will cover how social media can work for businesses, what role should it play in their marketing and how to integrate social media with other marketing vehicles.

Andrea Cusano, founder of Redhead Unlimited has 20+ years of work shaping brands for companies like FOX Television, Reebok, Nike, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Gap, The Staubach Company, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, TJX, IBM, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Time Warner, AFC Capital, US Airways, , Radio City Music Hall, Sirius Satellite Radio, and McDonalds.

Andrea has successfully developed and launched the Fox Kids Network, The Howard Stern Radio show, Reebok Flagship Stores and Sports Club, , The Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Tour, Stuff 4 U Teen TJX Club. She managed sponsor presence at the 1996 and 2005 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA, and Athens, Greece, The NFL Experience at Super Bowl XXXVIII and XXXIX, the NFL Draft at Madison Square Garden, and created several custom publications for Reebok, Rockport, Kraft Foods, Jack Morton Worldwide, Converse, and AOL.
